Part-time RN, full-time photographer. I am obsessed with everyday moments and helping to retell your stories in the most magical way possible! Although I am a big fan of golden sunsets, motion blur, vintage looking shots with light leaks and faded colours, 90% of my work is clear and true to tone. I am however, a big believer in the "trust your photographer" philosophy. Sometimes things feel awkward or strange, or maybe I make a suggestion on the fly! If I do this it's because I have stumbled across something amazing. I have noticed a spark of magic so TAKE ME UP ON IT EVERY TIME! You wont be disappointed!

We are here, EXCITING! My best piece of advice for choosing is just IMAGINE your big day. Do you see getting ready photos? Are you having first dances? Think about what is special to you! Each package is customizable! All packages include a wedding gift from my photography shop, a 20% off discount to my online store valid for one year, access to an online gallery of your wedding photos and a removable disk of your wedding photos. All packages have additional 5 % GST added to your invoice. Avaliable worldwide. Travel and accommodations may be additional.

Bring the entire family out for some updated living room wall photos. The kids grow and change quickly making for a unique capture at every session! Kids are unpredictable so bring on the fun! Maternity sessions are so sweet and a perfect way to really get pumped for your new baby's arrival. Sessions can be at home, at a park, field, beach or maybe in the city!! The options are endless! Your little sweetie is here! This has to be the most exciting yet scary time in your life, let's document that! For real though, this is the time for snuggles, cuddles and naps! Newborn sessions are held no more than 14 days old and usually in your home but hey, I am always open to adventure! Travel may be additional. *Currently an Okanagan local*

A couples session is tailored to you and your special person! This session is perfect for date nights! Planning a special picnic in the park, a bike ride or a movie night! Maybe its an engagement, this is a great session to lock those special times in memory forever !

How I do things
I am a natural light photographer so I specialize in anything OUTSIDE! If it's raining on your wedding day, you can bet we will be drenched getting the most romantic and soaking wet perfectly soggy portraits. We aren't afraid to get a bit of dirt on our toes here, by the end of a family adventure session we are ALL covered in dirt! The best shots are the messy, silly, relaxed and carefree so if this sounds like you, let's do this!

Cried my eyes out
Alison knocks every photo shoot out of the park. My friends got me a maternity shoot for my baby shower. I'll have to say, I'm not too thrilled about photos or having photos taken of me. That being said, we met Alison and all of my worries and insecurities disappeared. She gave me so much confidence and reassured me that they would be something special to look at once the baby has come. She is the most kind, pure and fun photographer and getting our photos back made me cry my eyes out. They were perfect and now, I can always look back at that special day and know it was so much fun and I had the best time. Thank you Alison! We really love you!
